For many installations, the elbow is ideal. But in spaces where the hose needs to exit straight rather than at an angle — where the supply pipe or filter run is positioned in line with the port rather than perpendicular to it — the elbow adds an unnecessary bend that can kink the hose or create a tighter turn radius than the installation allows. This straight 3/8″ Male BSP connector replaces the elbow on a Besthead FLEX port, allowing the hose to exit in a straight line from the filter head.
